The digital banking platform is expecting an upgrade on Wednesday, October 8, bringing new features we just know you’ll love.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
In the name of security and all it stands for, details of the multi-factor authentication upgrade can be found within the online banking portal itself (don’t want this info in the wrong hands, you know!).
Within OLB, please go to My Access > Messages. Once there, you’ll see a communication titled “OLB & App upgrade coming Oct 8 (new features!)”. Unless you opted out, you’ll be getting an email with details too. Please review this in detail to ensure you’re prepared for the upgrade.

Aviso Wealth Connectivity
Got investments with Aviso Wealth? With this release, you can check out your account information directly in online and mobile banking—no need to sign in separately.
Using your Aviso Client ID, you can link multiple Aviso products, including Aviso Wealth, Qtrade Investor and Qtrade Guided Portfolios to see account balances, recent transactions, and investment details in a single, secure view. Pretty neat, huh?

CRA Direct Deposit Enrollment
FINALLY!! Members can sign up to receive payments from CRA via direct deposit instead of cheque from right within online banking. Don’t let a CP strike make you miss that CRA cheque!
On desktop online banking:
Navigate to Accounts > CRA Direct Deposit
In the mobile app (both Android and iOS):
Navigate to More > CRA Direct Deposit
Will the upgrade include a new app version?
Yes! Effective October 8, 2025, the most current app versions will be
iOS 19.3.0
Android 19.3.0
To check which app you are on, click on the "More" menu at the bottom of the app screen > Information > App Info.
What else do we need to know?
You need to be on the latest operating systems (OS) for this release. That means:
- iOS: must be operating system (OS) 16 or higher.
- Android: must be on Android 10 or higher.
It is recommended that you always update your device to the latest OS versions available for your devices! If you’ve got an unsupported device and are unable to upgrade to the required OS – don’t panic! You can use your iPad or phone using the mobile web or web browser on those devices.
Examples of Devices Not Supported:
- Older Samsung Galaxy Models. Devices from the Galaxy S8 series and older are not expected to receive Android 10 updates as they have reached the end of their support life.
- Older Google Pixel Models. Pixel XL and earlier series are also likely to be on the unsupported list for Android 10, as they have already received several major OS updates.
- Older iOS Models: iPads with iOS 16 or iPadOS 16 or higher include all models of the iPad Pro, iPad Air from the 3rd generation and later, the iPad from the 5th generation and later, and the iPad mini from the 5th generation and later. iPhone 8 or later.
- Budget or Entry-Level Smartphones. Many older budget devices from various manufacturers, which often have shorter update lifecycles, will also not be supported.
